An opportunity was presented to me and I had to take it. Not long after starting this blog, I accepted the chance to do writing for www.fakepigskin.com and contribute to their MLB content. Right now, I'm writing 3-4 MLB DFS articles a week. I'm having a lot of fun doing it and hope my insights help people with building their lineups. It would really mean a lot to me if you could check out the website and the articles that all of the contributors, including myself, have published.
I have been playing season-long fantasy baseball for several years and football for a few. It has taken me quite a while to find something that I can say is a passion, and this is it! This is your chance to outsmart other members of your league/contest. With so many factors and variances to take into consideration, your mental acuity needs to be on point, and I love the challenge.
My day starts at 3:30 a.m., and like most, I have a "day job" I work 5-6 days per week/40-50 hours per week. That leaves almost no time for much of anything. Living in Hawaii, most of the research and lineup construction is done the night before the day/night of games (I plan to blog about this problem a little more in depth because people seem to be fascinated with the time difference).
Through playing season-long and daily fantasy sports, I have found that I would like to do more writing and it has been the motivation behind the creation of this blog. People actually ask me for help (you are crazy but I will try my best) and hope to try and accomplish some of that through my blog. Lately, it seems like many people do not have any understanding of fantasy sports and maybe this can help them gain a little more insight and perspective so they can have more educated judgements about the industry.
